Urdhva Mukha Svanasana

Urdhva Mukha Svanasana (Upward Facing Dog): Press down evenly into your hands and into all 10-toenails (pinky toe included!); lift your ankles, shins, kneecaps, thighs, and hips off the floor. Your chest moves through the gates of your arms, but lift the top of the sternum and collarbones up. Roll the heads of the shoulders back and gently lift your chin up away from the chest, keep your gaze soft. Upward facing down stretches the abdomen and strengthens the back. This pose is energizing and up lifting.
